  • 3 Removable Protective Tube Sleeves: Includes removable protective tube sleeves that reduce direct metal-to-filter contact and help minimize surface damage during use. When protection is not needed, the sleeves can be removed to improve grip and control
  • Multi-Drive Compatibility: Equipped with a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter, this oil filter tool works with 3/8" and 1/2" square drive ratchets as well as 11/16" (21mm) hex wrenches. Its versatile fit makes it easy to use with different tools, improving efficiency for both DIY maintenance and professional auto repair
  • Important Usage Note: This tool is not self-tightening for removal. When removing an oil filter, apply inward pressure and turn counterclockwise with steady, even force to keep the jaws engaged and prevent slipping. New filters are recommended to be installed by hand only - tighten 3/4 to 1 full turn after the gasket makes contact. For stubborn filters, stabilize the tool with one hand while turning with the other
  • Oil Change Maintenance Tips: Clean and dry the filter surface before use to ensure better grip. Position the wrench close to the base of the filter for maximum stability and control. If needed, place a thin cloth between the jaws and filter to increase friction, especially on stubborn or oily filters
